Design process for full interior design service:

The initial consultation will be held at your home or office, and will be an opportunity for you to share your design needs, how you plan to use the space, and your desired timeframe. If you don’t know where to begin, don’t worry! This first conversation is a fun, easy way to start building ideas together. We will also spend time discussing your lifestyle to help define a clearer vision for the space. If you have any items, colors or ideas you would like incorporated in the space, this is the time to discuss those to help us refine the design direction that best suits your needs and desires. After this initial consultation, we will provide you with a cost estimate for the design process, based on the assessed needs.
There is no charge for this initial meeting, as it is a great opportunity for both parties to get to know each other and make a decision about a comfortable compatibility before working together. -
Once the initial proposal is approved, the second meeting is typically focused on creating a more detailed brief. This will include discussing specifics of the space, including if some of the work will need to be done by outside contractors or tradespeople. We will also measure the space and take photographs so that floor plans and other drawings can be developed.

The next step is to provide you with initial design ideas, based on the brief we have outlined together. This stage may include mood boards, sketches, product images and materials to demonstrate the feeling of the space. There may be multiple meetings in this stage, to ensure that the correct feeling is being represented throughout the space.

Once we have the feeling of the room, we will present a detailed design, which usually includes mood boards, drawings, fabric and material samples, as well as a detailed timeline and cost estimates. This stage could also include obtaining quotes from outside vendors and tradespeople.
After this stage, we will meet regularly to make sure you are comfortable with the design process and specifications, and give you the opportunity to review schedules and product options. Throughout the project we will assess our decisions relative to our initial budget and design goals and make adjustments accordingly.
Hourly consultation:
Depending on the size of the project, your design needs, and your budget, we offer hourly consultation services. This time could be used to reorganize a space using existing furniture and accessories, selecting a few new, key pieces to tie a room together, or to provide design direction for components of a room.
Staging to help sell your home:
We will come into your home and make recommendations on organization and design tips to help present your home in the most appealing manner to potential buyers. Increasing the appeal and saleability of your home can be as simple as moving furniture to better highlight your spaces, removing clutter, or bringing in new items to enhance or showcase your home.
Shopping with a designer:
As a stand-alone service or as part of a larger project, we will work within your budget to assist in selecting items to compliment your home or office, such as furniture, lighting, linens and accessories. This could include visits to local, national and international retail stores, antique markets, online shopping, or visiting the Design Center.
Custom artwork:
Custom artwork designed specifically for a certain space in your home can bring a cohesive and finished look to a room. We specialize in creating pieces to fit specific client needs and spaces. Specialities include photography, graphic design and collage.
Custom soft furnishings:
Custom window treatments, decorative pillows and table linens are just a sampling of the items we can create to compliment your space. Larger projects such as upholstered walls and headboards are available on request.
Holiday decorating:
From trimming your trees to setting an inviting and magnificant table, we can help you celebrate the holidays without the stress of doing it all yourself. Decorating consultations are available throughout the year to make each holiday celebration special for you, your family and friends.
Party and event planning:
From intimate dinner parties to larger celebrations at your home or office, we can help with all aspects of planning your next event. From the inspiration (menu planning, decorating, theme and color planning), to the logistics (rental details, invitations, catering coordination), or just setting a beautiful table for a small gathering of friends.
